Volleyball ACE and TapRecorder with PracticeStats for Competitive Court Volleyball

About the TapRecorder

For iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch and Windows Devices (including Surface Pro)

The TapRecorder is a software tool for recording data on mobile devices and PCs quickly and easily. It is a simplified spreadsheet - with added features - designed to record data with a single tap on the screen. TapRecordings can be uploaded to the desktop and consolidated, printed and exported to Excel using the TapRecorder Consolidator application (PC and Mac-compatible). TapRecordings are uploaded to the desktop using iTunes File Sharing or uploaded one at a time using the Send Email features of the TapRecorder on the iPad/iPhone. Note: If you use the TapRecorder for Windows, file transfers may not be necessary unless you are using more than one computer or want to work in different folders.

PracticeStats for Volleyball

PracticeStats for Volleyball are a series of TapRecordings specifically designed to stat volleyball practice drills. PracticeStats include TapRecordings for numerous practice drills. Use PracticeStats "as-is", customize PracticeStats TapRecordings to your style or create your own! PracticeStats are built into the TapRecorder and no longer require any downloads or extra installation steps.

Should You Buy the TapRecorder or Volleyball Ace?

Of course we believe that you should buy both products, but if budget constraints force you to make a choice, here are some guidelines: Volleyball Ace is ideal for recording stats during volleyball matches because it "understands" how volleyball stats and scoring work. It keeps track of players in the game, the current score, charts serves and attacks and has many built-in consolidation features. The TapRecorder is much more open-ended, allowing you to record data for as many "players" as you want and as many kinds of stats as you want, but it does not keep track of the score, who is in the game in what rotation and it does not feature the many desktop reports available with Volleyball Ace.

In short, if you want to record stats for matches, we recommend Volleyball Ace. If you want to stat drills during practice, we recommend the TapRecorder with PracticeStats.
